Quick answer: Licensed pool and landscape partners handle the pool and landscape work; Dink Pro Courts builds the court. Swim in the afternoon heat, then play pickleball once the sun drops. When a Phoenix or Scottsdale family wants both in one yard, we draw where the court goes relative to the water, the deck and the equipment pad, then build that court on a concrete slab and keep our schedule in step with your pool contractor.

Courts start at $29,000 for a 54 ft x 28 ft court, with a basic net and 4 paddles included. Financing is $598/mo for 60 months with excellent credit. See financing options.

Estimated rates and terms are not binding and are subject to change. Your actual APR depends on credit score, amount financed and credit history; only borrowers with excellent credit qualify for the lowest rates. All financing is subject to credit review and approval by lending partners.

Important: We build courts, not pools. Dink Pro Courts has no pool or landscape contractor license. An independently licensed pool contractor designs, permits and builds your pool, and a licensed landscape contractor takes care of planting and irrigation.

One Yard, Two Kinds of Fun

A pool keeps everyone cool through a 110°F afternoon. A court gets the same people outside in the morning, at sunset and under lights. Yards that work well treat the swim zone and the play zone as one plan with shared shade, shared walkways and a clear line between wet and dry, instead of two projects bid by strangers who never compare drawings.

Five Ways to Place a Court Next to Water

1. Side by side on one level

The pool takes one half of the yard and the court takes the other, with a ramada or shade sail between them so spectators can watch both. This is the cleanest plan when the lot is wide and mostly flat.

2. Pool first, court tucked in

On tighter lots the pool usually wins the best spot, and the court fits where it can. We check run-out and the fence line before quoting, and we say so plainly if a full court will not fit. For smaller yards, our Mini Court Game Center puts pickleball and other games on one compact slab.

3. The pool is already in

Adding a court to a yard that already swims is common. We look at the pool equipment, the spa, gas and electrical runs and your setbacks before we suggest a pad location, so the new slab stays clear of what is already in the ground.

4. Pickleball plus basketball

Some families want a hoop as much as a net. The court side can carry multi-sport lines and a basketball key on the same slab. See basketball and pickleball combo courts.

5. Larger Scottsdale estates

Bigger lots bring longer sight lines, wider decks and HOA review. We orient the court around the pool your contractor designs and plan court lighting so it is aimed at the playing surface, not at the neighbors.

Step by Step, From Photos to Play

  1. Send photos and rough yard measurements, or book a site visit.
  2. Court layout: we sketch the court position around your existing or planned pool. The pool design stays with your pool contractor.
  3. Pool contractor: we coordinate the court schedule with yours. If you have not hired one yet, hire a licensed pool contractor directly.
  4. Court specification: surface color, fence height, lighting and any retaining walls.
  5. Build order in writing, then the court build. Timelines are a typical range, not a promise: We’re usually pouring concrete within a week, then it cures 21 to 28 days depending on weather before we paint.
  6. Court walkthrough with you. Your pool contractor handles the pool handover.

Room for the pool and deck your contractor designs, plus the court pad and run-out. Our starting court size is 54 ft x 28 ft. Send a plot plan or photos and we will tell you what fits; for smaller yards, ask about the Mini Court Game Center.

Often, yes, with the right order of work. Sometimes the court slab waits until heavy pool equipment is off the lot, so neither job damages the other.

Court orientation, fencing from 4 ft to 8 ft tall at the height you choose, and windscreens all help keep balls and noise on the court.

You do, with our paperwork: Dink prepares the court drawings and specs, and you send them to your HOA, often in the same submittal as your pool contractor's package.
