Cost Guide
What sets the price of a backyard sport court, line by line.

Sport court cost is set by size, site work and what goes on the slab: the concrete slab, the acrylic surface, the lines for each sport, hoops and nets, and any fencing or lighting. Two courts with the same footprint can price very differently if one yard needs more grading, drainage or access work. Here is what each part of the build covers.
| Cost factor | What it covers | What moves it |
|---|---|---|
| Court size | The slab and surface area | The biggest factor: more area means more concrete, coating and paint |
| Site prep and grading | Clearing, excavation, compaction | Slope, rock, existing hardscape to remove |
| Drainage | Getting water off the court and away from the house | Low spots, walls, pools nearby |
| Concrete slab | Forms, vapor barrier, post-tension cables or reinforcement, the pour | Soil conditions and slab size |
| Surface and lines | Acrylic sport surface, colors, lines for each sport | Number of sports, custom colors, cushioned layers |
| Equipment | Hoops, nets, posts | In-ground hoops, number of systems |
| Fencing | Ball containment | Height, length, gates |
| Lighting | Night play | Fixture count and electrical run |
| Access | Getting equipment and concrete to the yard | Tight side yards, walls, finished landscaping |

Short on space? Our mini pickleball court game center packages are built on smaller post-tension concrete slabs with published package pricing. For full-size pickleball, see our backyard pickleball court cost guide.
We price from your yard, not a per-square-foot chart. On the site visit we measure, look at grade, drainage and access, and talk through the sports you want. Then we lay out the court and give you a written quote for that layout.

Court size first, then site prep and drainage, the concrete slab, the surface and lines, and add-ons like hoops, fencing and lighting.
It depends on the layout. The slab and surface are shared, so the added cost is mostly the extra lines and equipment such as a hoop or net posts.
No. We quote from your actual yard and layout, because grading, drainage and access change the cost as much as size does.
Financing options are available, subject to credit review and approval. See our financing page for details.
